Why are there two different turbidity measurements (Turbidity-High and Turbidity-Low), what do they signify, and how does the OBS-3+ or OBS300 differentiate between the measurements when it stores the data?

The sensor has two measurement ranges, which increase the overall accuracy and resolution of the measurements. The sensor always outputs both ranges, but each output is more accurate when its designed turbidity range matches its calibrated range. The datalogger can be programmed to selectively store data from each output automatically, based on the turbidity measured in the field. This provides the best measurements at both high and low ranges.
