Grab data from CR1000

scalosolar Feb 7, 2012 02:46 PM

I am looking to find a way to either have the CR1000 upload data or be able to grab data from it.

What is the best way to do this so I can have this process automated?

I am completely new to this technology, and any help will be greatly appreciated

There are a bunch of ways to do either, the most common being scheduled collection or callback using LoggerNet.
Try describing your ideal situation, and we'll see if we have a solution or equvalent.

Basically, I am looking for some way to create a so the data can be picked up or pushed out to be incorproated into a 3rd party application that could graphically display the data in real time or as close to real time as possible AND give users the ability to generate a csv's of historical data as well.

I apologize for the vagueness of my request, we are still in information gathering to help us develop the scope of this project.

Yes, that is vague. So I'll give the canned answer, Look to acquire LoggerNet with RTMCPro or LoggerNet with VistaDataVision. You can push, pull, and display data til your heart's content.
