I've updated OS on many CR300 and several CR6 and CR1000X remotely via the Connect screen. However, today I was sending (to a client) the Campbell instruction video on how to do this, and I noticed the warning on the video:
IMPORTANT: This video does NOT apply to CR6 dataloggers with a serial number greater than 7501, the CR300, or the CR1000X.

Seems to work just fine over cell modem. Is that disclaimer/warning old? Thanks,

What is different is the newer dataloggers should start the previous program after an OS update. A CR1000 would need a program called default sent to it first, otherwise it would sit with no program running.
