PPP cellular session length

Hi,

I'm seeing a CR1000 with COM111 request the ending and restarting of packet-based (IP) comms with a COM111 modem every 30 minutes. Is that expected behaviour? Would the sessions not be ended and restarted if data transfers were in progress?

30 minutes sounds suspiciously like the default PakBus TCP verify interval. I wonder if that is the traffic being seen? Or if a "stale" connection is causing PPP to be renegoitated.
