The 13894 is a single bearing located in the propeller housing of the 05103 Wind Monitor and can be replaced by most users—especially those who are familiar with replacing bearings in other mechanical systems. The bearing may also be replaced at the factory; an RMA (Returned Material Authorization) is required for factory replacement.
The 05103-L uses two 13894 bearings. Campbell Scientific recommends replacing the two required bearings at the same time.
