Campbell Scientific has often been asked if we have a versionof our datalogger support software that runs on a Linuxplatform. We’re happy to announce that a Linux version has been released.

Our LoggerNet for Linux package (LNLinux) includes a Linux version of the LoggerNet server and a copy of LoggerNet Remote. LoggerNet Remote is run on a computer with a Microsoft® operating system (NT, 2000, or XP) and is used to set up and manage the LoggerNet server. LoggerNet for Linux runs on a computer with Linux installed. It handles all communication and data collection with the dataloggers—the collected data is stored on the Linux computer. Together, these two systems offer a solution for those who wish to run in a Linux environment.

The LoggerNet for Linux disk contains two RPM distributions— Fedora Core 5 and CentOS 4.3.
