RS485CBL Five-Conductor Cable with M12 Five-Pin A-Coded Connector

Überblick

The RS485CBL cable uses a five-conductor shielded cable with an M12 five-pin A-coded connector. The cable has a polyurethane jacket that is UV resistant. The RS485CBL has been custom designed for sensors that use the RS-485 Modbus protocol with integrated power and signal lines. The signal lines have twisted pairs with 24-gauge conductors, and the power lines have a heavier 20-gauge wire, making the cable uniquely suitable for sensors with a higher current draw that have either short or long runs. An aluminum Mylar shield is grounded via a drain wire and connected to the M12 nut.

Note:

  1. Pin 2 and Pin 5 use the twisted pair white and blue for the RS-485 line + and - signals.
  2. The twisted pair conductors have an aluminum Mylar shield connected to a drain wire. The drain wire is connected to the M12 nut.
