The SurfaceVue™10 is a road condition sensor designed for use with your road weather information systems (RWIS). This non-invasive sensor uses spectral analysis of optical reflection signals to provide you with surface state, friction, water, and ice layer thickness data. The SurfaceVue 10 also measures air pressure, wind speed, surface temperature, and dew point temperature parameters. The abundance of this data provides you with vital information to make more accurate winter road maintenance decisions.

SurfaceVue 10 standard programs with and without NTCIP. Set a constant to select RS-232 or RS-485 communications. Another constant is used to specify the port the sensor is connected to. See the readme.txt file for more information. The program is written for a CR1000X, but programs for other data loggers will be similar.
