Überblick

Der Wintersense SDI-12 ist ein berühungsloser Oberflächentemperatursensor, der vor allem für Straßenoberflächen zum Einsatz an einer Strassenwetterstation (RWIS) entwickelt wurde. Er ist leicht anzubringen, nicht-invasiv, kompakt und leicht und man kann vorhandene Strukturen wie Straßenlaternen oder RWIS Masten zum Aufbau verwenden. Der Wintersense SDI-12 hat ein Kabel zur Stromversorgung und zur Kommunikation mit einer RWIS oder einem Datenlogger, der die Daten speichert und weitergibt. a

Technische Beschreibung

The Wintersense SDI-12 is equipped with a thermopile sensor that detects the presence of thermal radiation emitted from the target surface. The sensor also has an integrated optical filter that cuts off the visible and near-infrared radiation flux so that you get optimum ambient and sunlight immunity. These features, combined with an eight-second signal-averaging algorithm, provide you with best-of-class data for these measurement parameters:

  • Road surface temperature
  • Air temperature
  • Relative humidity
  • Dewpoint
  • Installation angle
  • Sensor temperature

The Wintersense SDI-12 is SDI-12 v1.4 compliant and is compatible with all SDI-12 compliant recorders and all Campbell Scientific RWIS stations. Please check with the manufacturer of any non-Campbell Scientific RWIS station to determine compatibility with the SDI-12 industry standard.
