Das SC929  ist ein Interfacekabel zwischen Datenlogger und Computer. Damit wird der CS I/O-Port des Loggers mit dem seriellen RS232-Port des Compters verbunden. Das SC929 bietet keine optische Isolierung und sollte deshalb nur mit Notebooks oder Labtops verwendet werden, die mit internen Akkus laufen (keine Verbindung zum Stromnetz).

Technische Beschreibung

The SC929 cable connects the datalogger's CS I/O port directly to the 9-pin serial port of a battery-operated laptop. It converts the CMOS logic levels of the datalogger to the RS-232 logic levels of the laptop. The SC929 does not provide electrical isolation, so it should only be used with laptop computers running from internal batteries (not connected to ac power).

Communications with a datalogger over CS I/O utilize Modem Enable mode (ComME). It does not provide Synchronous Device Communication (SDC).
