Überblick

Der SC932C ermöglicht Kommunikation zwischen einem Datenlogger und einem Gerät mit seriellen RS232 DCE Port. Er wird normalerweise mit der ET107 oder ET106 verwendet und ist ein Teil des 10589 Kurzstreckenmodem-Kit.

Das SC932C wird nimmt man nur, wenn es wenig Platz gibt, für alle anderen Anwendungen wird der SC932A empfohlen.

  1. Can an SC932C be used to replace an SC932?

    Campbell Scientific recommends using an SC932A instead. The SC932C is only recommended for applications where there are space limitations, whereas the SC932A is recommended for all other applications.

  2. Can an SRM-5A be connected directly to a CR1000, or is another module needed?

    If connecting to the CS I/O port, one of the following is needed:

    • An SC932A interface with a 15751 9 to 25 pin adapter
    • An SC932C interface

    A connection can also be made to the RS-232 port. However, the switch on the SRM-5A must be in the DTE position on the station modem, and adapters and gender changers may be needed to complete the connection.
